BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Drew Brandon scored a career-high 27 points, and Eastern Washington used a late 9-0 run to stun Indiana 88-86 on Monday night.
Tyler Harvey had 25 points to help the Eagles (4-1) get their first win against a Big Ten foe and their first win in front of a crowd of 10,000 or more.
Indiana (4-1) was led by Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell with 27 points and Troy Williams with 19. But the Hoosiers couldn't close it out after taking a 78-75 lead with 2:12 to play.
Eastern Washington scored nine straight to take control and then closed it out at the free-throw line.
The result ended Indiana's 43-game home winning streak against non-conference foes.
