GETTING OFFENSIVE
Through the first four games, Indiana has scored 379 total points in those contests to share the Big Ten lead of 94.8 points per game. The 379 points in four games is a program record for scoring over a four-game stretch. IU's 94.8 points per contest ties for the third best total nationally.
As a team, the Hoosiers are shooting 49.8 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from long distance. IU is outscoring opponents by a +42.5 margin and have scored 170 more points than opponents have so far.
In three games this year, IU has had five or more players score in double-figures, including two contests where six players tallied double digits. Prior to this season, the last time Indiana had six players score in double-figures in the same game was Nov. 14, 2008 vs. Ball State.
Through four games, five Indiana players are averaging double-figure points in Tyra Buss (18.3 ppg), Jenn Anderson (13.8 ppg), Larryn Brooks (12.0 ppg), Amanda Cahill (11.0 ppg) and Karlee McBride (10.5 ppg).
NATIONAL STATS RANKINGS
As a team through four games, Indiana ranks in the top 25 nationally in 12 statistic categories, including ranking in the top 10 in five of those categories and 11th in two others.
• Indiana is tied for third nationally in scoring offense (94.8 ppg).
• The Hoosiers rank fifth in the country in scoring margin outscoring opponents by 42.5 points per game.

Individually, three Hoosiers rank in the top 25 nationally in different stat categories.

• Amanda Cahill's two double-doubles so far this season ranks her 22nd in the country for most double-doubles.
PASSING THE PUMPKIN
In three of Indiana's four games, IU has had 22 or more assists as a team and are currently averaging 20.5 assists per game. The Hoosiers have not had three games of 20 or more assists in the same season since 2007-08 when IU had four games for 20 or more dimes that year. The Hoosiers had 25 assists in the season opener vs. Gardner-Webb on Nov. 25, which ranks in the top eight for most assists ever in a single game by an IU team. Indiana dished for 23 assists vs. Morehead State on Nov. 21 and 22 assists against Incarnate Word on Nov. 23.
BEWARE OF STEALERS
IU has had 11 or more steals in three games this season, including 18 steals in each of the first two games of the year, marking the first time in program history an IU team had 18 or more steals in back-to-back games. The 18 steals ties for the fourth-most steals in a single game in program history. Prior to this season, the last time an Indiana team had 18 steals in a game was Dec. 5, 2007 vs. Dayton (18). The last time an IU team had three games of 10 or more steals in the same year came during the 2011-12 season.
LIMITING FOES
The Indiana defense has limited opponents to shoot just 32.2 percent from the field and 17.4 percent (12-of-69) from 3-point range through four games. No team has shot better than 34.9 percent from the field in any game and no opponent has hit more than 25.0 percent of their 3-point field goal attempts in any contest. By comparison, for the entire 2013-14 season, IU had seven opponents shoot 34.9 percent or less and this year the defense has already achieved that feat four times.
BUSS NAMED BIG TEN FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK TWICE
On Nov. 24, Indiana's Tyra Buss was named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week. She also earned the honor the week prior by herself on Nov. 17. She becomes the first IU player to ever receive Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on consecutive occasions and the second Hoosier to earn the award twice in the same season (Larryn Brooks, 2013-14). Buss becomes the first Indiana player to earn conference weekly laurels in back-to-back weeks since Cyndi Valentin was named Big Ten Player of the Week two straight times in 2005-06.
During IU's three games last week, Buss averaged 18.3 points, 4.0 steals, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 55.6 percent (20-of-36) from the field.
JENN BECOMING A GEM
Sophomore Jenn Anderson has started in each of IU's first four games and has made her presence known so far in 2014-15. Anderson is averaging 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 57.9 percent from the field to lead the team in that category. Against Incarnate Word on Nov. 23, Anderson scored a career-high 21 points, shooting 8-of-11 from the field with four boards and a block. She has tallied double-figure points and achieved a block three times this year.
CLIMBING TO THE CA-HILL TOP
In each of IU's last two games, freshman Amanda Cahill has recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the Hoosiers. Against Morehead State on Nov. 21, Cahill skied for 14 rebounds to go along with her 11 points and added two steals, two assists and two blocks. She followed that with 12 points and 10 boards vs. Incarnate Word on Nov. 23 with four assists and two steals. The Clyde, Ohio, native has scored in double-figures in three of IU's four games so far this year.
