• The Hoosiers held a 20-7 edge in fastbreak points.
• IU's largest lead came with 2:37 remaining at 87-60.
• Indiana went 14-of-15 from the free throw line in the second half.
• In the second half, IU connected on 54.5 percent of its field goals.
• The Hoosiers outscored the Timberwolves, 56-37, in the second stanza.
• With Northwood leading 24-19, Indiana went on a 9-0 run to take a 28-24 lead from the 7:11 to the 4:13 mark in the first half.
• After a Northwood basket, IU went on 13-2 run from the 19:29 to the 16:57 mark of the second half.
• The Hoosiers had five players in double figures. Freshman James Blackmon, Jr. (26), junior Nick Zeisloft (24), junior Kevin Yogi Ferrell (16), freshman Robert Johnson (13) and junior Hanner Mosquera-Perea (10).
• Blackmon finished with a game-high 26 points. He added seven rebounds and shot 10-of-10 from the free throw line. From the field, he shot 63.6 percent (7-of-11).
• Zeisloft also hit the 20-point mark with 24, including four three-pointers. From the line, he also shot a perfect 10-of-10.
• Ferrell contributed six assists and four rebounds to go along with his 16 points.
• Mosquera-Perea earned a double-double with his 10 points and 12 rebounds in 33 minutes. He has never started a regular season game or played more than 15 minutes in a regular season game at Indiana.
• Johnson added two assists and two rebounds.
• In eight minutes of play, freshman Tim Priller nailed a three-pointer from the top of the key, pulled down two rebounds, blocked one shot and had one steal.
• Freshmam Nate Ritchie added two points and one offensive rebound in six minutes.
