Field Hockey's Heilman Named NFHCA All-American

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana field hockey’s Audra Heilman has been named a Longstreth/NFHCA Second Team All-American, joining Kayla Bashore and Lydia Schrott in becoming the third player in program history to earn All-American honors twice in a career. The Easton, Pa. native was selected to the Third Team last season.
The honor is the latest in a series of accolades Heilman has earned for her effortsthis season. The Easton, Pa. native was also picked for the NFHCA Senior Game and was named First Team All-West Region and First Team All-Big Ten.
Heilman led Indiana in scoring this season with 14 goals and five assists. She finished her career with the Hoosiers third in program history in goals scored (33), third in points (92) and fourth in assists (26). Heilman also picked up Big Ten Player of the Week honors on Sept. 2 after recording hat tricks in each of Indiana’s first two wins of the year.
