Four Hoosiers Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Four members of the Indiana volleyball team were named to the 2014 Academic All-Big Ten squad announced the conference office today, Dec. 10. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
"I’m very proud of our four student-athletes for earning Academic All- Big Ten honors,” IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan said. “Earning is the key word! These four have made academics a priority and understand that academics is the golden ticket to success in the long run and not just graduating but doing your very best is the answer to everything. Our team as a whole has done a fantastic job and I’m proud of their success every semester. It’s nice for these four to get this recognition.”
