Hoosiers Take Gold on Final Day of Nationals

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Indiana University freshman Jessica Parratto won her second national title of the meet to wrap up competition at the USA Diving Winter National Championships at the McCorkle Aquatic Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Parratto teamed up with former IU All-American Amy Cozad to win the synchro platform title as the pair tallied 586.32 points, 44.04 points ahead of the second-place duo Emma Ivory-Ganja and Samantha Bromberg.
On Saturday, Parratto won the women's platform national title, edging out Bromberg by 1.45 points. Parratto also earned a silver medal in the 3-meter synchro competition.
In the final event for the Hoosier men, sophomore Michael Hixon and former IU All-American Darian Schmidt placed fourth in the 3-meter synchro final, posting a score of 765.63.
