• The Hoosiers improve to 104-56 in the all-time series against Michigan and have won five straight over the Wolverines at Assembly Hall. Since 1996 the Hoosiers are 16-1 against Michigan at Assembly Hall.
• Indiana has won seven games against teams ranked in the Top 10 of the Associated Press Poll in the last two years (Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Michigan) and are 7-2 against Top-10 teams over the last two years.
• Since 2011-12, the Hoosiers have 10 wins against Top-10 teams, tied for the most in the nation.s
• Since 2011-12 Indiana is 70-24 (.745 winning pct.) and 47-5 at home over that span.
• This is the second time this season IU has stopped a winning streak of 10-plus games (Wisconsin 16 game winning streak, Michigan 10 game winning streak).
• The Hoosiers held Michigan 22 points under their season scoring average of 74 points per game. Michigan guard Nik Stauskas came in averaging 18.4 points per game and was held to six points on 1-of-6 from the floor. Sophomore Kevin Yogi Ferrell was the primary defender on Stauskas during the game.
• IU allowed Michigan just six second chance points and are giving up an average of four second chance points over their last five games.
• Indiana shot 8-of-13 from three-point range (61.5 percent) their best shooting from beyond the arc this season. It is the sixth game this season IU has made seven or more three-pointers.
• Indiana shot 65 percent from the field (13-of-20) in the second half, the highest percentage in a half since Jan. 12, 2013 against Minnesota (65.6 percent in first half).
• The Hoosiers took a 18-16 lead with 7:44 left in the first half and never trailed after that.
• The Hoosiers outrebounded Michigan 31-22, making it 21 out of 22 opponents that IU has either grabbed as many or more rebounds against. Over the last three games, Indiana has averaged a +10.7 rebound advantage.
• Sophomore Kevin Yogi Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 27 points, his seventh career and season 20-plus scoring game. Ferrell connected on 7-of-8 threes, the most three-point baskets in a game since Jordan Hulls had seven on Jan. 8, 2012 at Penn State.
• Freshman Noah Vonleh recorded his ninth double-double of the season (Big Ten best) with 10 points and 12 rebounds. It is his 11th double digit rebounding game and 15th double digit scoring game.
• Graduate transfer Evan Gordon scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds.
• Senior Will Sheehey scored six points, pulled down two rebounds and dished out three assists.
• Freshman Stanford Robinson scored seven points in 24 minutes.
• Freshman Troy Williams grabbed four rebounds, one assist and one steal
