BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 39 Indiana women's tennis team will host a double-header on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the IU Tennis Center. The Hoosiers will take on Miami (OH) at 11 a.m. ET and then battle Butler at 3:30 p.m.
The Miami (OH) RedHawks sit at a perfect 3-0 on the season and have wins over Xavier and Cincinnati, both common opponents of Indiana already this season. IU also topped both of those squads.
The Butler Bulldogs are 1-3 on the year and will host a double-header on Friday, Feb. 7 before arriving in Bloomington on Saturday.
Indiana is currently 4-1 so far this season with the only setback coming to No. 23 Notre Dame on the road last weekend.
IU's Katie Klyczek and Sophie Garre are off to great starts during dual play as each of them holds a perfect 5-0 singles record in dual matches so far. Klyczek has played in the No. 1 position as Garre has been in the No. 4 spot. For the entire year, including last fall, Klyczek is 15-1 in singles play to lead the team in wins and Garre sits a 14-2 in 2013-14.
