Indiana To Take on Michigan in Big Ten Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's basketball team will battle Michigan in the first round of the 2014 Big Ten Tournament on Thursday, March 6. The game will tip at 6:30 p.m. ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
IU is the No. 10 seed as the Wolverines are seeded seventh. Thursday's game will mark the fifth time the two programs will have met in the Big Ten Tournament as Indiana holds a 3-1 edge in those tourney matchups. The Wolverines topped the Hoosiers in their lone meeting during the 2014 conference season on Feb. 19 in Bloomington, 70-58.
Indiana holds a 14-18 all-time record in the conference tournament and is 10-9 in the opening round games of the annual event. The Big Ten Tournament returns to Indianapolis and Bankers Life Fieldhouse this year after last year's tourney took place at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
All-session ($70) and single-session ($10 for first round) tickets for the 2014 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament can be purchased through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000 and through the Bankers Life Fieldhouse box office. Other than the fan blocks for each university's respective games, seating will be general admission.
