BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Baseball makes the short trip over to Terre Haute on Wednesday (March 26) for a 3:30 pm game versus the Sycamores of Indiana State (15-5) at Bob Warn Field. The game time was moved up due to expected cool temperatures.
Indiana (12-9) is slated to send sophomore southpaw Sullivan Stadler (1-0, 3.86) to the mound, one week after earning the win in his first career start. Stadler worked the first five innings in the Hoosiers' 9-3 home win over #9 Louisville last Wednesday.
The two ins-state squads will square off in the 99th renewal of the series which dates back to March 26, 1898. The Hoosiers hold a 56-40-2 edge in the series including an 8-1 victory over the Sycamores last year in Bloomington. It kicks off an eight-game homestand for ISU after playing 17 of their first 20 games on the road.
On deck is IU's first conference road trip, heading to Columbus to take on the Buckeyes starting Friday night.
