Monette, Tasic Earn Big Ten Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Sam Monette and senior Dimitrije Tasic have earned recognition from the Big Ten as the conference announced the men’s tennis awards today.
Monette, who posted a 20-10 record in singles action this season, was named to the Second Team All-Big Ten. Monette’s wins included a victory against No. 10 ranked Gonzales Austin from Vanderbilt.
Tasic was the Sportsmanship honoree for the Hoosiers.
The IU men’s tennis team won their first round match against Minnesota and will play Illinois tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
