Hoosiers Conclude Competition at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The Indiana track & field team earned two top-10 relay finishes as they concluded competition at the 120th Penn Relays on Saturday.
The Hoosiers team of freshman Jason Crist, junior Nolan Fife, freshman Matt Schwartzer and sophomore Owen Skeete finished eighth in the 4XMile Championship of America. Skeete anchored the team across the line in 16:27.55.
In the 4X800-meter Championship of America the Hoosiers finished eighth in 7:26.25. Freshman Tre’Tez Kinnaird ran the fastest leg of the relay in 1:48.65.
Junior Richard Rouse finished seventh in the college tripe jump with a mark of 14.92m (48-11.5). Fellow junior Drew Volz finished fifth in the pole vault with a clearance of 5.05m
Up next the Hoosiers host the Billy Hays Invitational on May 3.
