Hoosiers Excel at Crimson Tide Invitational

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Indiana track & field team had several top-five finishes as they competed at the Crimson Tide Invitational, hosted by Alabama on Saturday.
Senior Arianne Raby won the 1,500-meter as she crossed the finish line in 4:27.14. Fellow senior Kyla Buckley won the shot put with a meet record 17.08m.
Sydney Clute finished third in the pole vault competition with a clearance of 3.97m.
Middle distance runners Tre’Tez Kinnaird and Jordan Gornall had solid races to open their outdoor seasons. Gornall finished second in the 1,500-meter run in 3:49.90 and Kinnaird finished fourth in the 800-meter run in 1:49.74.
Cornelius Strickland finished in second-place in the 200-meter dash as he crossed the finish line in 21.47.
