Beckwith Third at USA Championships

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Indiana track and field alumnus Molly Beckwith-Ludlow finished in third-place in the 800m run at the USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships on Sunday at Hornet Stadium.
Beckwith, who finished in third-place at the USA Indoor Championships earlier this year, crossed the finish line in 1:59.35.
Fellow IU alum and 11-time All-American Andy Bayer finished in seventh-place in the 3,000m steeplechase in 8:40.53. This is Bayer’s first steeplechase race at the USA Championships and only third race in the event ever.
Next week the Hoosiers will have athletes competing in Eugene, Ore., July 5-6 at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships.
