Indiana Softball to Host Future Hoosier Camp

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana softball will host the Future Hoosier Softball Camp on Aug. 16. The camp is designed for high school student-athletes who wish to play at the next level.
The Future Hoosier Softball Camp is open to any and all high school-aged entrants whose graduation years include 2015, 2016, 2017 or 2018. The camp will run 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. and costs $150 per participant.
Indiana head coach Michelle Gardner and assistants Ben Sorden and Mike Perniciaro will lead the camp, which will utilize the same advanced drills used to train the Indiana softball team. Multiple facets of the game will be addressed, including defensive techniques and hitting fundamentals.
Camp highlights include competitive scrimmages, a home run derby and a t-shirt for all campers. In addition, a tour of the Indiana Athletics facilities will be available to all participants following the conclusion of camp.
