Moore Named to USSDA Starting XI

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Incoming Indiana University men's soccer freshman Francesco Moore was named to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy starting XI for the U-17/18 central age group.
Moore plays for the Chicago Magic PSG Academy team and was named to the starting XI as a defender. Moore started 21 of 23 games, tallying five goals over the course of the season. The squad tallied a record of 14-7-6, finishing third in the Central Conference.
Moore begins his Hoosiers career on Aug. 13 with the first full team practice in preparation for an Aug. 19 exhibition match at Armstrong Stadium against Xavier. The regular season kicks off on Aug. 29 as Indiana plays host to Georgetown at the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic.
