Kinnaird Advances at World Junior Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Freshman Tre’tez Kinnaird finished third in his heat to automatically qualify for the semifinal of the 800m run at the IAAF World Junior Championships at Hayward Field on Friday.

Kinnaird, the USA Junior Champion in the event, crossed the finish line in 1:50.07 to advance to the next round of competition.

The semifinal will be contested tomorrow at 7:25 p.m. ET.
