Field Hockey Hosts Miami (Ohio) in Exhibition Play on Tuesday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana field hockey team will kick off its 2014 campaign with an exhibition match against Miami (Ohio) on Aug. 19. The contest is set for 4:30 p.m. at the IU Field Hockey Complex.
Head coach Amy Robertson is entering her 15th season with the Hoosiers. She welcomes back 16 returners, including 2013 All-Big Ten selections Audra Heilman (first team) and Sydney Supica (second team).

Seniors Audra Heilman and Maggie Olson, along with junior Sydney Supica, were selected for the Women’s National Championship during the summer. Heilman and Olson were also members of the team in 2012.
Indiana welcomes six freshmen: Glenne Carter (Los Angeles), Cameron Gibson (Mechanicsville, Va.), Marcia Lewis (Los Gatos, Calif.), Maddie Latino (Louisville, Ky.), Taylor Pearson (North Vancouver, BC) and Abby Urbanek (Edwardsville, Ill.).
The Hoosiers and Redhawks will also face off during the regular season on Sept. 14 in Oxford, Ohio.
The team will start its regular season Aug. 29 in Louisville, Ky. against the University of New Hampshire.
