Captains, Helmet Announced for Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana football seniors Kenny Mullen, D'Angelo Roberts, Isaiah Roundtree and Nick Stoner have been named game captains for IU's season opener vs. Indiana State on Saturday, Aug. 30,at Memorial Stadium per head coach Kevin Wilson.
All Hoosier natives, Mullen, Roberts, Roundtree and Stoner are game captains for the first time in their careers. The chosen four will represent IU at midfield for Saturday's pregame coin toss.
IU also announced it would wear the "Block I" helmet for Saturday's game, in which the Hoosiers are honoring all-time great Anthony Thompson. A running back for IU from 1986-89, Thompson is Indiana's career leader in rushing yards, carries, points and touchdowns.
