BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After three matches away from University Gym, the Indiana volleyball team returns to host the Hoosiers Classic. IU will welcome Buffalo, Western Illinois and Butler for the tournament, Sept. 19-20.
On Friday the Hoosiers will play Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. and than on Saturday they will matchup against Western Illinois (12:00 p.m.) and Butler (7:00 p.m.)
FRIDAY MATCH ON BTN PLUS
The match on Friday against Buffalo will be one of seven matches that will be broadcast on BTN plus. To subscript to BTN plus click here.
HOOSIERS IN THE NCAA/BIG TEN RANKINGS
Sophomore Megan Tallman ranks seventh in the NCAA and third in the Big Ten in assists/set at 11.50. Fellow sophomore Taylor Lebo is 10th in the NCAA and second in the Big Ten in service aces. Junior Courtney Harnish 30th in the NCAA and second in the Big Ten in digs.
LEACH ON THE ATTACK
Senior Morgan Leach is off to a good start in her last season at Indiana. Leach leads the Hoosiers with 117 kills on the season and is leading the team in hitting percentage at .314. Leach has 923 kills for her career and would be the 17th IU player to reach 1,000 kills.

40TH SEASON OF IU VOLLEYBALL
This year is a special one, as the team will celebrate the 40th season of Indiana Volleyball. On Oct. 11th there will be a special alumni banquet leading up to the Hoosiers home match against Purdue.

In addition to special features and Q and A’s with coaches and student-athletes there will be two regular shows all season long. The first is Inside IU Volleyball with head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan. Hosted by the voice of IU Volleyball, Sean Nash this show will recap past matches, preview upcoming matches and add special features as well. Also sophomore Jazzmine McDonald will have a weekly video blog called “Smooth Jazz”, where she gives an inside look into the program from the perspective of a student-athlete.
