IU Gains Momentum on Day 2 of Hoosier Classic

The IU men's tennis team had a successful day on the second day of the Hoosier Classic Fall tournament in Bloomington.
Matthew McCoy and Elliott Yee both advanced to the semifinals of the singles draw and the team of Daniel Bednarczyk and Chris Essick advanced to the final in the doubles draw. McCoy and Yee and Bednarczyk/Essick will play at 8:00 a.m. at Bloomington High School South.
Yee advanced with a 6-4,6-3 victory over teammate Daniel Bednarczyk in the quarterfinal. McCoy beat Rolando Torrellas from Illinois State, 6-4,6-4.
