Chrome Helmets Return vs. Maryland

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana football seniors Collin Rahrig, Bobby Richardson and D'Angelo Roberts have been named game captains for IU's Big Ten opener on Saturday, Sept. 27 (1:30 p.m. ET; Big Ten Network) at Memorial Stadium, head coach Kevin Wilson announced.
Rahrig and Richardson were game captains for last week's win at 18/19 Missouri. Saturday will mark Rahrig's second time representing Indiana as a captain in his career and Richardson's fifth. Roberts, meanwhile, was a captain for IU's season-opening win vs. Indiana State at home.
IU will wear the chrome helmets for the first time this season after going 2-2 (2-1 at home) with the shiny lids in 2013.
