BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Former Indiana University midfielder Jacob Bushue has signed his first professional soccer contract, joining Saint Louis FC of the USL Pro league. Bushue joins fellow former Hoosier Mike Ambersley on the roster, with Ambersley the first signing in club history.
Bushue was a four-year letterwinner at IU from 2010-2013. He appeared in 86 matches in his four seasons, making 79 starts. Bushue was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team in 2010 as the Hoosiers won the Big Ten regular season title.
In 2011 as a sophomore Bushue started all 21 matches played and was named Academic All-Big Ten, as well as earning all-tournament team honors at the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic and Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament.

As a senior Bushue earned the title trifecta with Indiana winning the Big Ten Tournament to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the 27th-straight season. He stared all 23 games and was a second-team All-Big Ten and third-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region selection.
