Game Notes
• Indiana dished 20 assists in the game, marking the seventh time this season that IU has had 20 or more assists. The is the most games with 20 assists or more in the same season for IU team since 2005-06 (7).
• The Hoosiers had 11 steals against the Gophers, marking the eighth game this year that Indiana has had 10 or more steals in a game.
• For the fifth time this year, Indiana forced an opponent into 20 or more turnovers as Minnesota had 20 in the game. It is the second-straight game that Indiana has forced an opponent into 20 or more miscues.
• IU outscored Minnesota 32-30 in points in the paint, 22-17 in points off turnovers, 15-12 in second-chance points and 11-8 in bench scoring.
• Indiana has outscored its opponent's bench in 13 contests this year.
• Freshman Amanda Cahill scored 12 points on 6-of-11 field goals to go along with five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Cahill has scored in double-figures in 13 games this year.
• Sophomore Larryn Brooks tallied 12 points for her 13th game this season in double-figures. She also added four assists and tied her season high with three steals.
• Sophomore Jenn Anderson shot 5-of-6 from the field for 10 points for her ninth game in double-figures this year. She added two rebounds as well.
• Tyra Buss dished for a team-high six assists for her seventh game this year with five or more assists. She also had seven points with three rebounds while shooting 3-of-6 from the field.
