Indiana Begins Dual Play This Weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana will begin dual play this weekend with three matches inside the IU Tennis Center. On Jan. 24, the Hoosiers welcome Miami (OH) at 11 a.m. ET. Indiana will then play a double-header on Sunday, Jan. 25 taking on Western Michigan at 11 a.m. and then Eastern Illinois at 4 p.m.
Along with IU, Miami and Eastern Illinois will be playing their first dual matches of the 2015 season. Western Michigan split its two duals last weekend as the Broncos fell to No. 20 Notre Dame before defeating Valparaiso.
Looking ahead, the Hoosiers will close the month in Cincinnati with a double-header against UC and Xavier before hosting dual matches in each of the first three weekends of February.
The Hoosiers will open Big Ten play in March with six of IU’s first seven conference matches taking place on the road. Indiana will then be home for much of April as IU will host five conference foes in Bloomington. Two of those April matches include the newest members of the conference in Maryland and Rutgers.
The 2015 Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament will take place April 23-26. The host school is yet to be determined.
