Men's Tennis Travels to Vanderbilt

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After picking up wins against Cornell and Dartmouth to get off to a 2-0 start, the No. 53 Indiana men’s tennis team faces another challenge as they travel to play No. 26 Vanderbilt on Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET.
Vanderbilt (4-2) is coming off a weekend in which they lost against South Florida and rebounded for a 4-3 win against Kentucky.
The Hoosiers had a successful road trip to open the season and they won 4-3 matches against Cornell and Dartmouth. In both matches it was sophomore Matthew McCoy, who delivered the point to clinch the match, with the support of his teammate cheering him to victory.
Indiana started the season ranked No. 64 in the ITA rankings, but with their two victories they moved up 11 spots and are now ranked at 53.

Following the match at Vanderbilt, the Hoosiers return home to host their home opener on Sunday Feb. 1 at 10:00 a.m. against Western Michigan and 4:00 p.m. against Northern Illinois.
