Indiana Hits Road for Double-Header Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana will play its first road duals of the 2015 season with a double-header on Saturday, Jan. 31 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Hoosiers will take on the UC Bearcats at 10 a.m.. ET and then Xavier at 3 p.m. inside the Western Tennis and Fitness Club.
IU started the dual schedule with three wins last weekend in Bloomington as the Hoosiers topped Miami (OH), Western Michigan and Eastern Illinois. All three matches were 6-1 margins.
Saturday's match with Cincinnati will be the first dual of the season for the Bearcats. Last year when IU and UC met, the Hoosiers came out on top in that matchup, 7-0.
Xavier owns a 2-0 record so far in 2015 as the Musketeers downed Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky last week. Indiana topped Xavier when the two teams met a year ago, 7-0. The Musketeer roster features one ranked player in singles in Amina Ismall who is No. 106 in the national rankings.
