BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- One of the most decorated players in Indiana baseball history, Kyle Schwarber was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2014 MLB Draft last year by the Chicago Cubs.
Schwarber sat down with IUHoosiers.com on his most recent visit to Bloomington, where he spent the last three years and was part of IU's run to the College World Series in 2013.
"This was a great place that helped me get better," Schwarber said.
The highest draft pick in IU baseball history, Schwarber batted .341 in 180 games played with 40 home runs and 149 RBI. His 238 hits in three years are the eighth most career hits in program history and his 40 career long balls are the sixth most all-time at Indiana.
