• Senior defensive end Nick Mangieri collected two sacks for the second straight game to increase his team-leading total to seven. He has recorded at least one sack in five games this season and is IU's active career sacks leader with 12. The Peoria, Ill., native added four tackles, three solo.

• Bandit Zack Shaw matched Mangieri with two sacks of his own, a career-high, and set a career mark with three tackles for loss to go along with six stops. Shaw now has three sacks in 2015 and eight in his career. The fifth-year senior is second to Mangieri in career sacks and leads the Hoosiers with 19 career TFLs.

• Linebacker Marcus Oliver led the Hoosiers with a career-high 13 stops, six solo, with a half for loss and one pass breakup. The redshirt sophomore has two career double-digit tackle games, both this season.

• Indiana finished with four sacks and eight tackles for loss. Over the last three games, the Hoosiers have 13 sacks and 23 TFLs.

• Redshirt sophomore safety Chase Dutra recovered his first career fumble in the first quarter and the Hoosiers seventh of the season.

• Indiana owns 12 takeaways (seven fumbles, five interceptions) overall and sits plus-9 in turnover margin.

• Before a fourth quarter interception, the Hoosiers had not committed a turnover since quarter No. 1 against Western Kentucky in week three, a span of 14 straight quarters.

• IU has only turned it over three times in six games, two INTs and one fumble.

• For the fifth time in six games, Indiana held its opponent scoreless in the third quarter. The Hoosiers hold a 58-14 advantage in the stanza on the season.

• Redshirt freshman safety Will Dawkins recovered redshirt sophomore Griffin Oakes onside kick attempt. The Hoosiers have now converted four of Oakes five career attempts. This was Oakes first attempt in 2015.

• Zander Diamont tied the game up at 7 in the first quarter with a 12-yard touchdown run, his second in as many weeks and the fourth of his career. The sophomore finished with 38 rushing yards on 11 attempts and went 9-of-17 for 90 yards.

• Redshirt freshman quarterback Danny Cameron made his IU debut in the third quarter. Cameron completed 6-of-16 passes for 65 yards.

• Redshirt junior Ricky Jones led the Hoosiers and finished with game-highs in catches (5) and yards (59).

• Redshirt sophomore Isaac Griffith posted a career-best 31 yards and matched a career-high with two receptions.

• Redshirt junior Andrew Wilson received his first carries since 2013 and finished the afternoon with 12 yards on five attempts.

• Redshirt freshman Alex Rodriguez and true freshman Mike Majette each received their first carries.

• True freshman Tyler Green made his Hoosiers debut. He is the 12th true freshmen to see action in 2015 and the 60^th in head coach Kevin Wilson's five seasons.

• Tight end Anthony Corsaro (first time this season), defensive lineman Ralph Green III (first), wide receiver Ricky Jones (third) and linebacker T.J. Simmons (second) served as Indiana's game captains.

• The Hoosiers wore the crimson state flag helmet for the second time this season.

• Indiana won the coin toss for the third time this season and elected to defer for the third time.
