BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University graduate and co-anchor of E! News Weekend Catt Sadler will serve as the host of the 2015 edition of Hoosier Hysteria presented by Smithville Fiber on Saturday, October 24 in Assembly Hall.
"I've never been more excited to return to Indiana," said Sadler. "As a Hoosier and Indiana University graduate, coming home to take part in Hoosier Hysteria brings me an immense amount of joy as I know it is an absolute privilege to take part in this historic sporting occasion."
The annual event serves as the official tip-off for the men's and women's basketball seasons. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the women beginning the evening with a shootaround.
"I haven't been on the floor of Assembly Hall since I was a Redstepper performing during halftime at one of the games in the late 90's," said Sadler. "My family and I have followed the Hoosiers closely ever since - all the way from Los Angeles. We are avid basketball fans and my two sons dream of playing there one day, so this visit is especially thrilling for us all."
Hoosier Hysteria includes skits, skill contests, scrimmages and autographs
"I've interviewed A-listers like Clooney, been on the red carpet at the Oscars, and covered Paris Fashion Week for E! News, but I'm pretty sure this experience will rank as one of my all-time career highs," concluded Sadler. "I'm touched to be invited back! Go IU."
Admission is free, however, fans are encouraged to bring a canned good to benefit Hoosier Hills Food Bank.
