Postgame Notes: Indiana vs. Rutgers

• The 627 total yards for the Hoosiers ranks eighth all-time in school history.
• The 52 points scored by the Hoosiers tied for 18th all-time in program history.
• The 107 combined points scored were the most in a game since Oct. 19, 2013, when Michigan defeated the Hoosiers, 63-47, in Ann Arbor, Mich. The 107 points is the most scored in a game at Memorial Stadium since Aug. 29, 2013, when Indiana defeated Indiana State, 73-35.
• Nate Sudfeld set career-highs in completions (32) and passing yards (464). Sudfeld tied his career-highs in attempts (42) and passing touchdowns (4). His 464 yards rank second to Ben Chappell (480) on the Hoosiers single-game list.
• Simmie Cobbs, Jr., set a career-high with his 107 receiving yards and tied his career-high with seven receptions. The 100-yard receiving game was the first for Cobbs in his career.
• Mitchell Paige set career-highs with eight receptions and 126 receiving yards. The 100-yard receiving game was the first for Paige in his career.
• Ricky Jones tied his career-high in receptions with six for 119 yards, his third 100-yard game of the season and career.
• Mike Majette set career-highs in attempts (11), rushing yards (83), long rush (21), receptions (3), receiving yards (33) and receiving touchdowns (1).
• Majette reached the end zone for the first time in his career with a 17-yard reception to open the second quarter.
• Devine Redding set a career-high with 99 rushing yards and tied his career-high with two rushing touchdowns. He carried the ball 15 times, averaging 6.6 yards per rush.
• Cobbs, Paige and Jones are the first trio of receivers to surpass 100-yards receiving in the same game in Indiana football history.
• Sophomore tight end Jordan Fuchs caught his second and third career touchdowns and his first and second of this season. Fuchs first score put the Hoosiers in front 24-13 in quarter No. 2. His second score put IU up 45-27 in quarter No. 3.
• Redshirt sophomore linebacker Marcus Oliver picked off the first pass of his career in the third quarter. The redshirt sophomore has been involved in five takeaways this season (three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception) and eight in his career (six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception).
• Oliver set career marks in total tackles (14) and solo tackles (12), while also adding a tackle for loss. The double-digit effort was the third of his career (all this season).
• Redshirt sophomore Rashard Fant made eight total tackles (seven solo), with two pass breakups.
• Junior defensive tackle Darius Latham blocked two Rutgers extra points, the first two blocks of his career. He finished with 2.5 tackles for loss and five total stops.
• IU has outscored its opponents 86-20 in the third quarter this season.
• Indiana has forced a turnover in 13 consecutive games and now sits plus-7 in turnover margin (13-6).
• The Hoosiers have scored 65 points off of their 13 turnovers.
• True freshman safety Jonathan Crawford recorded his first career sack in the opening quarter. He added six tackles (five solo) to go along with his first career forced fumble.
• Redshirt sophomore Griffin Oakes opened up the Hoosiers scoring with a 27-yard field goal. Oakes is 10-of-11 (90.9 percent) on the season and 23-of-29 (79.3) in his career. His 23 field goals are ninth on the Hoosiers career list. The Greenwood, Ind., native added seven touchbacks on nine kickoffs and has 32 on 45 kickoffs in 2015.
