#IUBB To Play IPFW in Fort Wayne During 2016-17 Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's basketball program will play a game in Ft. Wayne for the first time since 1967, when it takes on IPFW at historical Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in 2016 as part of a four-team exempt tournament.
That contest is part of a three-game agreement which brings the Mastodons to Assembly Hall on December 9 of this year and during the 2018-19 regular season.
"To take our program to Northeast Indiana for the first time in nearly 50 years is an exciting opportunity for us," said Indiana head coach Tom Crean. "We look forward to the experience of playing in another historic venue and in front of an incredibly passionate fan base."
IU is 7-1 in Ft. Wayne and played consecutively one game each year from 1960-67.
