Nov. 13, 2015
• Indiana improves to 2-0 under head coach Teri Moren in season openers.
• The Hoosiers had four players score in double-figures led by sophomore Tyra Buss with 21 points.
• Eight of the nine Hoosiers that saw action in the game scored.
• The Hoosiers held the Lady Tigers without a field goal for the first 4:05 of the game.
• Leading 11-7 Indiana went on a 15-0 run to build a 26-7 lead against the Lady Tigers. The 15-0 run was part of a larger 33-5 run and the Hoosiers held Tennessee State to one field goal in the final 5:51 of the second quarter.
• The Hoosiers shot 16-of-33 (48.5 percent) in the first half and led 50-14 going into halftime. Indiana held Tennessee State to 5-of-31 (16.1 percent) from the field in the first half.
• Indiana outscored Tennessee State 50-8 in points in the paint and 30-14 in points off turnovers. The Hoosiers forced the Lady Tigers into 22 turnovers.
• In addition to her 21 points, sophomore Tyra Buss tied a career-high by dishing out eight assists and had six steals.
• Junior Tyshee Towner scored 18 points in her Indiana debut and grabbed six rebounds while contributing two assists and two steals.
• Sophomore Amanda Cahill scored 17 points and posted eight rebounds. She added four assists and two steals. Cahill nailed a career-best 7-of-9 field goals and was 2-of-3 from beyond the arc.
• Junior Alexis Gassion scored 12 points and added eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks.
• Senior Lyndsay Likem nearly posted a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds. She also added two assists and three steals.
• Freshmen Kym Royster and Danielle Williams made their Indiana debut in the win over TSU.
