Four Hoosiers Earn All-Region Honors at Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. - Four Hoosiers earned All-Region honors as the Indiana cross country teams competed in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course.. IU's Amanda Behnke, Rorey Hunter, Jason Crist and Kyle DuVall all earned All-Region honors as the men finished fifth overall and the women placed seventh.

In the men's 10K race, Hunter crossed the line first for IU in 16th position in a time of 31:10.4. Crist followed in 21st place (31:14.8) as DuVall came in 25th (31:20.1).

Rounding out the Indiana scoring was Carl Smith in 34th (31:33.6) and Owen Skeete in 45th (31:50.7). IU totaled 141 points. Michigan took first place with Michigan State taking second. Eastern Michigan was third and Notre Dame placed fourth.

In the women's 6K run, Behnke clocked in at 20:57.7 for a 13th-place finish. Brianna Johnson came in 38th in 21:27.7. Chanli Mundy (50th, 21:41.3), Corinne Cominator (55th, 21:48.4) and Haley Harris (62nd, 21:58.1) also scored for the Hoosiers.
