WNIT Second Round
Nov. 17, 2015
• Indiana's win over No. 24 Chattanooga gave Teri Moren her second victory over a ranked opponent as head coach at Indiana. IU last defeated a ranked foe in No. 24 Michigan State, 70-51, on Dec. 31, 2014 in Assembly Hall.
• The win over UTC was IU's first over a ranked non-conference opponent since the Hoosiers downed No. 24/19 Nebraska (prior to joining Big Ten) on Dec. 5, 2010.
• The Hoosiers sealed the win with a 12-0 run that started with a Kym Royster layup at the buzzer to end the third quarter and was capped by a three-point play from Tyra Buss at the 5:01 mark of the fourth to give IU an eight-point lead.
• Indiana outscored Chattanooga 23-4 in points off turnovers as the Hoosiers forced 18 miscues, the most turnovers by the Mocs in a game this season.
• IU outscored UTC 34-20 in the paint, 10-4 in second chance points and 13-4 in bench points.
• Buss led all scorers with 16 points to go along with six rebounds, five assists and one steal. She has scored in double figures in 24 career games.
• Sophomore Amanda Cahill tallied 13 points for her 20th-career game in double figures. She led IU with seven rebounds and had two assists.
• Junior Alexis Gassion added 10 points with six boards, two assists and a steal. Gassion has now scored 10 or more points 25 times in her career.
• Freshman Kym Royster scored six-straight points that started IU's 12-0 run in the second half, shooting 3-of-6 from the field. She added three rebounds and a block as well.
