Manji Advances to Singles Final

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Raheel Manji advanced to the singles final of the A1 flight on day two of the Wake Forest Invitational on Saturday.
Manji picked up a straight sets victory over Blaine Willenborg from Penn, 6-1, 6-2 in the semifinal to earn a place in the final, where he will meet Josef Dodridge of Wisconsin tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
Also at Wake Forest senior Elliott Yee advanced to the consolation final of the B1 flight with a 5-7, 6-3, 10-4 win in his semifinal match against Jack MacFarlane of Georgia State.
At the Big Ten Singles/Doubles Championships junior Matthew McCoy won two matches and junior Stefan Lugonjic and senior Chris Essick went 1-1 on the day.
