Manji Wins Singles Title at Wake Forest Invitational

McCoy reaches semifinal at Big Ten Singles/Doubles Championships

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Raheel Manji won the singles title at the Wake Forest Invitational on Sunday in Winston Salem, N.C. At the Big Ten Singles/Doubles Championships junior Matthew McCoy advanced to the semifinal.

Manji defeated Josef Dodridge of Wisconsin in straight sets with a 6-2, 6-2 win to claim the title after going 4-0 on the weekend.

McCoy won matches against Lubo Cuba (6-4, 6-1) from Michigan and No. 1 seed Dusty Boyer (6-3, 7-5) from Nebraska to reach the semifinal. He will be matched up against No. 4 seed Toby Boyer from Nebraska tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. ET.
