IU Alum Abdelatif Wins Two Egyptian National Diving Titles

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana diving alum Emad Abdelatif competed at the Egyptian Nationals on November 19-21, winning a pair of national championships titles.
Abdelatif took first place in the 3-meter springboard with a score of 384.40. Then in the 3-meter synchro, Abdelatif teamed with Youssef Ezzat to win the title.
These two performances put Abdelatif on the Egyptian World Cup Team. Abdelatif, who trains with the Hoosiers as a post-grad, will next dive at the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro in February.
