Former IU swimmer Cody Miller Overcoming Odds on Way to 2016 Olympics

Cody Miller has not defied convention. He has crushed convention.
He has a deformity that diminishes lung capacity by 12 to 20 percent. That is an inconvenience if you are, say, a gymnast. He is a swimmer. How is the guy supposed to breathe?
He is not just a swimmer, but a breaststroker. The world's best breaststrokers are 6-3 to 6-5, and he is 5-10. Yet Miller takes longer and fewer strokes than anyone.
