Indiana Postgame Notes
• Indiana improves to 3-2 all-time in the Crossroads Classic and it's their second win over Notre Dame in the event.
• In the all-time series between the two schools, Indiana holds a 49-22 lead.
• The Hoosiers trailed by 16 points with 16:42 left in the game, but outscored Notre Dame by a 42-19 margin to earn the seven-point win.
• It marks the largest comeback in the Tom Crean Era (since 2008-09), topping the previous high of 15 points at Penn State on Jan. 11, 2014
• Over the final 6:00 of the game, the Indiana defense held Notre Dame to 1-of-11 shooting from the floor and just two points to turn a seven point deficit into a seven point victory.
• In the final 5:00 of the game, Indiana went 9-of-10 from the free throw line.
• IU went 10-of-20 from behind the 3-point line in the game, marking the seventh time in 12 games that they have made at least 10 triples.
• As a team, Indiana is shooting 45.7 percent from the 3-point line over the last three games (32-of-70). IU has shot 40 percent or better is 27-of-46 games dating back to last season.
• The 20 offensive rebounds Indiana grabbed are the second-most in a game this season (21 vs. Eastern Illinois in season opener)
• Indiana is 9-0 when they score at least 80 points this season
• In the last four games, Indian has held opponents to 21-of-79 (26.6 percent) from the 3-point line.
• With a 41-33 edge in rebounds, IU has now outrebounded nine out of 12 opponents this season.
• Troy Williams led Indiana with 18 points, with 16 coming in the second half. It's also a season-high in points for Williams.
• Williams also added 10 rebounds for his eighth career double-double and second double-double of the season.
• Robert Johnson scored a season-high 17 points while playing a season-high 32 minutes
• James Blackmon Jr. tallied 11 points, on 3-of-5 shooting from the 3-point line, while also hauling down eight rebounds.
• Thomas Bryant totaled 10 points, five rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes
• Kevin Yogi Ferrell scored eight points, giving him 1,572 in his career. He is 18 points behind Greg Graham for 13th on the all-time scoring list at Indiana. Ferrell also ranks third in school history with 511 career assists and 214 career 3- point field goals made.
• Five of Ferrell's points came in the final 4:13 of the game. He connected on a 3-point field goal to tie the game at 71-71 with 4:13 left and then made a pair of free throws to tie the game at 73-73 with 2:44 remaining.
• Collin Hartman added nine points off the bench in addition to four rebounds and three assists (zero turnovers) in 22 minutes.
• Max Bielfeldt scored two points off the bench and also pulled down two rebounds.
• Nick Zeisloft was 1-of-3 from the 3-point line for his three points in the contest
• O.G. Anunoby was key in the Hoosiers second half surge, and finished with two points and four rebounds (three offensive) in seven minutes.
