Postgame Notes
• With Morehead State leading 13-12 at the 13:33 mark of the first half, the Hoosiers used a 29-6 run to take control of the game and go up 41-19. Indiana held the Eagles without a point for 5:30 during this stretch.
• With the Hoosiers up 55-29 at the 17:34 mark of the second half they went on a 13-0 run to go up 68-29 with 13:45 to play in the second half.
• The Hoosiers had five players score in double-figures against the Eagles. It is the fifth time this season the Hoosiers have had at least five score in double-figures.
• Indiana shot 30-of-53 (56.6 percent) for the game, the sixth time this season the Hoosiers have shot 50 percent or better.
• The Hoosiers shot over 50 percent for both halves tonight, marking the 11th and 12th half they have shot 50 percent or better this season.
• Indiana held Morehead State to 16-of-51 shooting from the field (31.4 percent), the lowest percentage of an opponent this season. The 16 made field goals for Morehead State are tied for the second lowest for an opponent in the Crean era.
• Indiana scored 50 points in the first half. This is the seventh half this season the Hoosiers have scored 50 or more points.
• The Hoosiers connected on 16-of-22 free-throws in the first half. The 16 free-throws made are the most in a half this season and the most since they made 21 in the second half against Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 14, 2014.
• Indiana made 27-of-36 (75 percent) free-throws, their most made free-throws this season. It's the most made in a game since Nov. 11, 2014 vs. Mississippi Valley State.
• Indiana outrebounded Morehead State 35-31. The Hoosiers have outrebounded opponents in six of nine games this season and it's the first time Morehead State has been outrebounded this season.
• Redshirt senior Max Bielfeldt scored 12 off the bench, marking the eighth game out of nine this season the Hoosiers have had a player score in double-figures off the bench. Indiana is averaging 26.5 bench points per game this season.
• Indiana held advantages over Morehead State in points in the paint (46-24), points off turnovers (27-17) and second chance points (21-12).
• Morehead State came into the game averaging 13 turnovers per game and the Hoosiers forced the Eagles into 23 turnovers.
• Junior Troy Williams led the Hoosiers with 16 points and grabbed four rebounds. Williams connected on 6-of-7 from the field.
• Senior Kevin Yogi Ferrell scored 15 points and dished out seven assists and tallied two steals. Ferrell has posted at least five assists in each game this season.
• Sophomore James Blackmon Jr., scored 15 points and contributed five rebounds and two steals.
• Freshman Thomas Bryant scored 14 points and added six rebounds, one block and one assist. Bryant has scored in double-figures in six games this season.
• Bielfeldt scored 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field. The last time an Indiana player was perfect from the field with at least five attempts was Emmitt Holt vs. Pitt on Dec. 2, 2014. Bielfeldt posted a career-high three blocks and added four rebounds.
• Sophomore Robert Johnson scored eight points and added four rebounds and two assists.
• Redshirt senior Nick Zeisloft scored eight points and added two rebounds and one assist.
• Junior Collin Hartman scored four points and posted three rebounds, tied a career-high with three steals and one block.
