No. 42 Indiana Heads to No. 31 Tennessee Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The No. 42 Indiana women’s tennis team will take to the road to battle No. 31 Tennessee on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10:30 a.m. ET. The Hoosiers and Lady Vols will play inside the Goodfriend Tennis Center.
Indiana is coming off its biggest win of the year with an upset of then-No. 20 Notre Dame last Sunday. The Hoosiers topped the Fighting Irish in Bloomington, 4-3.
IU sits at 8-1 so far on the season and has won three matches in a row.
The Lady Vols, ranked 31st nationally as a team, have a 6-3 record this year and are looking to end a two-match losing streak. Tennessee has a pair of doubles tandems currently ranked in the latest ITA Doubles Rankings. Eve Repic and Laurence Guevremont are ranked 30th nationally as Joanna Henderson and Caitlyn Williams sit at No. 36 in the rankings.
This weekend begins a tough stretch for Indiana with only one its matches taking place in Bloomington between now and April. After Tennessee, IU heads to Illinois on March 1 before hosting Northwestern on March 7. The Hoosiers will then take on Purdue on the road on March 13 before their spring break trip to Las Vegas. Indiana will then end the month of March with road contests at Nebraska (March 20), Iowa (March 22), Penn State (March 27) and Ohio State (March 29).
