MADISON, Wisc. -- The Indiana men's basketball team fell to No. 5/4 Wisconsin on Tuesday evening at the Kohl Center, 92-78.
The Hoosiers (16-7, 6-4 Big Ten) had five players hit double figures, led by a season-high 17 points from Nick Zeisloft. Robert Johnson (16), Troy Williams (14), Kevin Yogi Ferrell (13) and Collin Hartman (11) also hit double-digits for Indiana.
After the Badgers (20-2, 8-1 Big Ten) opened up the game with a 9-0 run, Hartman knocked in his first of three 3-pointers of the night to start a 13-2 stretch that saw Indiana take a 13-11 lead.
The Hoosiers hit 13 triples in the game, which is the most 3-pointers given up by Wisconsin at the Kohl Center since Winthrop hit 15 in 2006.
Behind 14 points from Frank Kaminsky, Wisconsin took a 44-36 lead into halftime. Both team's shots were falling in the first half as Indiana hit 56 percent (14-of-25) and Wisconsin knocked in 68 percent (17-of-25) from the field.
The Badgers used a decisive 13-0 run out of the break to extend their advantage to 57-36 with 15:17 remaining in the game and would lead by as many as 32 points with 10:40 on the clock.
With 8:38 left in the game, Indiana went on a 23-8 run to cut Wisconsin's lead down to 12 points. Ferrell had all eight of his second-half points during that stretch.
However, Indiana would get no closer as Wisconsin held on to secure the victory. The Badgers were led by 23 points from Kaminsky, who shot 75 percent (9-of-12) on the night.
Up next, Indiana hosts Michigan on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Assembly Hall. The game will also be broadcasted live on CBS.
