Show Your Stripes On Sunday vs. Michigan

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - When the Indiana Hoosiers host Michigan on Sunday (1:00 p.m., CBS), it will be our "Show Your Stripes" game, where fans are encouraged, via social media, to wear their IU candy stripes. The candy stripes can be anything - pants, shirts, hats, glasses, etc. - that "Shows Your Stripes".
Other promotions/events taking place around Sunday's game include:
• Candy Striped Tifo - Students sitting in the GA section will participate in a special red and white striped tifo flag (see image above). The tifo, made up of approximately 10 stripes, will stretch from the first row of the GA section up to approximately row 25 and cover about 50 percent of the entire GA section when it's fully displayed. The striped tifo will occur during the second media timeout in the first half.
• Special IDS Student Section - Student fans sitting in the GA section and south bleachers (approx. 2,000) will be given a special Indiana Daily Student newspaper section that they can hold up during visiting team introductions.
• Indiana Farm Bureau - Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance will be the game sponsor on Sunday. They will be recognized with a special commemorative game ball during halftime.
• Totinos T-Shirt Giveaway - Totinos will throw out free t-shirts during the second half (under 8 minute timeout or William Tell timeout). SAB volunteers and Marketing interns will throw the t-shirts into the crowd during the timeout.
•
#IUSelfie Station - IU fans can share their best IU smiles for fellow Hoosiers on social media before the game. The #IUSelfie Station will be located in the north lobby.
• #1MillIU - Our year-long push to get 1 million fans to attend IU sporting events during the 2014-15 season continues. Fans are able to post photos at events with the hashtag #1MillIU and they might show up on the scoreboard during events. • Indiana National Guard Display - The Indiana National Guard will have a display in the south lobby.
• BTN Tip-Off Challenge Display - BTN will have a special interactive display set-up in the north lobby during pregame. The display allows fans to compete against one another to see who has the higher vertical jump.
• IU Football - IU Football players will be signing autographs in the south lobby during pregame, and helping promote season ticket and student combo ticket sales.
