IU to Battle Penn State in B1G Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana women’s basketball team will take on Penn State in the opening round of the 2015 Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday, March 4. The game will tip at 6 p.m. ET inside Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
The Hoosiers are the No. 12 seed in the tournament as the Lady Lions are seeded 13th. Wednesday’s game will mark the fifth time the two programs will have met in the Big Ten Tournament and the first time since 2004. PSU topped IU in their only meeting this season on Jan. 22, 79-75.
Indiana holds a 14-19 all-time record in the conference tournament and is 10-10 in opening round games. The Big Ten Tournament is returning to Hoffman Estates for the first time since 2013.
The Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament all-session tickets are $90 and single-session tickets are $15. Fans wishing to purchase all-session tickets within their university’s fan block for their respective team’s games are encouraged to contact their school’s ticket office. The women’s tournament will feature general admission seating, allowing fans to witness the action from the best available seats in Sears Centre Arena.
