•Indiana outrebounded Northwestern, 42-25, including a 20-5 advantage on the offensive boards.
• From 14:51 to 9:12 in the opening period, the Hoosiers went on a 16-0 run. James Blackmon Jr. had seven points in that stretch, while Kevin Yogi Ferrell knocked in eight points during the run.
• The Hoosiers did not allow a single Northwestern field goal from 18:37 - 9:12 in the first half.
• Blackmon’s 25 points is one shy of his career-high set against SMU on Nov. 20. Blackmon drained five triples in the contest, hitting 50 percent from downtown. His 74 3-pointers this season is the most for a freshman in Indiana history, exceeding Eric Gordon’s previous high of 70 set in 2007-08.
• Blackmon dished a career-high eight assists on the night, doubling his previous career-high of four set against Northwestern on Feb. 25.
• Ferrell extended his streak of consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer to 63. Ferrell finished the night with three triples.
•Ferrell netted 17 points, five assists and three rebounds.
•Emmitt Holt scored eight points on 4-of-5 shooting, while also picking up an assist.
•Troy Williams scored seven points while pulling down 12 rebounds and recording three blocks in 33 minutes of action.
•Robert Johnson scored six points on a pair of 3-pointers in 27 minutes.
•Hanner Mosquera-Perea and Nick Zeisloft each scored three points in the victory.
•Stanford Robinson added two points, two rebounds and an assist in seven minutes.
•With the win, Indiana advances to the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals and will face Maryland on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network.
