FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Sophomore Tre'tez Kinnaird capped off his indoor season with an eighth-place finish in the 800m to earn First Team All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Kinnaird, who won a Big Ten Championship and set an IU school record at 800m this season, finished in eighth-place in the final of the 800m in a time of 1:51.98.
Kinnaird is IU's first All-American in the 800m since Keith Allen finished in third-place at the NCAA Indoor Championships in 1988.
