Hoosiers Drop 4-1 Match to Princeton in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The No. 39 Indiana men's tennis team fell 4-1 against No. 32 Princeton to open play in the San Diego Invitational.
Princeton won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to take the doubles point and get out to a 1-0 lead in the match.
The Hoosiers (10-6) got on the board early in singles play with a 6-4, 6-4 victory from freshman Raheel Manji.
Senior Sven Lalic took his first set and after dropping a first set, junior Sam Monette came back to win his second set. Princeton went up 3-1 with three set victories in those matches and added a fourth point with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles.
Up next the Hoosiers take on No. 43 Denver tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. ET.
