OPENING TIP
• The 2014-15 college basketball season represents the 115th in the history of Indiana University. The Hoosiers will begin the final week of the regular season by hosting Iowa. The Hoosiers are 64-9 in Assembly Hall since the start of the 2011-12 season.

HEAD COACH Tom Crean
• Indiana named Tom Crean as its 28th men's basketball coach on April 2, 2008, and he is in his seventh year with the Hoosiers. He is 310-203 all-time as a head coach and in the last 3+ years, he has led IU to an 92-41 record, the 2013 Big Ten Championship and back-to-back appearances (12 and 13) for the Hoosiers in the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1994. In 2012-13, he was named NABC District 7 and USBWA District V Coach of the Year. In the last two seasons, Crean has mentored three NBA Lottery picks which is tied with Kansas for the most among NCAA schools.
• Crean is the only Big Ten coach to mentor an NBA lottery pick, a National Player of the Year, a first team All-American, a first team Academic All-American and a Senior Class Award winner this decade.
• Since 2011-12, IU leads all major conference teams in three-point field goal percentage (40.3), field goal percentage (47.6) and are 2nd in free throws made (2,142), free throw percentage (73.7) and 4th nationally in scoring (76.8) over the last 3+ seasons.
• Indiana had 2 of the Big Ten's 4 wins over ranked opponents in the non-conference season (Butler and SMU). The Hoosiers 4 wins over ranked teams also leads all B1G schools this season.
• The Hoosiers 19 regular season wins against Top 25 opponents since the 2011-12 season is the most of any Big Ten team.
• The Hoosiers have an RPI of 42 with 5 wins against the RPI top 50 this season.
SHOOTING THREE'S
• IU has made 271 three-point field goals in 29 games, which is the second-highest single-season mark in school history. The 2005-06 squad made 276 triples to establish an IU mark.

• The Hoosiers are 4th in the country in 3-point field goal percentage (41.1), 9th in 3FGM per game (9.3) and 13th in scoring (78.7).
• According to Stats Inc., Indiana has the 6th Lowest Average Years of Eligibility on an NCAA Division I roster at 1.79.
• Eight different Hoosiers have scored 15 points or more in at least one game this season (Ferrell, Blackmon Jr., Williams, Johnson, Hartman, Zeisloft, Holt and Hoetzel).
• The Hoosiers set a school and Big Ten game record when they buried 18-of-32 three-point field goal attempts in the win over Minnesota. That eclipsed their previous bests of 17 made against Illinois in 2002 and against Penn State in 2007.
• Freshman James Blackmon, Jr., is one of 10 finalists for the Waymon Tisale Award, given annually to the top freshman in the country by the United States Basketball Writers Association.

NEW ADDITION
• Indiana University men's basketball coach Tom Crean has announced that Jordan Fuchs has been added to the Hoosiers roster. Fuchs is a tight end for the IU football team and played as prep at Christ The King High School in New York. He is 6-6, 230 and will wear #20.
DID YOU KNOW
• Junior Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell has a school-record 60-game streak of making at least one 3-point field goal. That is the longest active streak in the nation.
• Ferrell also needs 7 rebounds to join Tom Coverdale, Damon Bailey, Randy Wittman and A.J. Guyton as the only players in IU history to have 1,000 points, 400 assists and 300 rebounds.
ODDS AND TRENDS
• Devin Davis, who suffered a traumatic head injury on November 1, is back in school and will redshirt this season. He travels with the team.
• Junior Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell is 28th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,288 points. He leads all Big Ten juniors in career scoring, assists (418), 3FGM (180) and free throw percentage (82.6). This season, he is second in the league in free throw percentage (86.3), 5th in scoring (16.1), 4th in assists (5.0) and 4th in 3FGM (2.4). In conference games only, he is 2nd in the league in assists (5.3), 3rd in 3FGM per game (2.6) and 8th in scoring (15.1). The Indianapolis native is now 7th on the school's all-time assist list (418). He has had 9 efforts of 20+ points or better this season.
• James Blackmon, Jr. is third in scoring among all B1G freshmen and 7th nationally among first-year players at 15.8 points per game. He has topped the 20-point mark nine times this season and is averaging 5.3 rebounds per game, the second-most on the team. He had 17 points and 7 rebounds at Rutgers. Against Minnesota he had 24 points and 7 rebounds and tied a career-high with 6 three-point field goals. He had 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals against Rutgers. He had 22 points against Maryland and 21 points against Illinois.
• Freshman reserve Emmitt Holt had 3 points and 3 boards at Rutgers. His best game of the season came against Pittsburgh, when he dropped 15 points. He also is 2nd on the team with 17 blocked shots and is shooting 66.0 percent from the field.
• Sophomore Troy Williams is one of the most improved players in the Big Ten and had his fifth double-double of the season with 21 points and 14 boards at Northwestern. He is third in the league in FG shooting (57.7) and 4th in rebounding (7.0). He had a 19-point, 9-rebound effort against Minnesota and hit both of his three-point field goal attempts. He posted his fourth double-double of the year with 17 points and 10 rebounds at Maryland on Feb. 11. In the home game against Michigan, he had a 20-point, 8-board effort. His third double-double of the season came against Rutgers, when he tallied 14 points and 12 boards. He had 16 points and 7 boards in the first meeting with Maryland and also had 21 points and 9 rebounds at Illinois. He had 15 points and 11 boards at home against OSU .
• Sophomore Collin Hartman, who returned 6 months after tearing an ACL, started 10 games this season. Overall he is shooting 51.7 from the field and 50.0 from three-point range to lead the Big Ten in both categories. He is 2nd on the team with 44 offensive rebounds. He had a career-high 15 points and 3 blocked shots in the win over Maryland on Jan. 22. He followed that up with 12 points at Ohio State. He had 11 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals against Wisconsin.
• Freshman Robert Johnson had 19 points, 4 assists and made a career-high 5 three-point field goals in the win against Minnesota. He had 16 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals at Wisconsin. At 41.1 percent from beyond the arc, Johnson ranks 9th in the Big Ten. He had 20 points and made 4-of-6 from long distance in the win over Penn State. He led the Hoosiers with 14 points against Nebraska.
• Forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea, who had started the first 16 games for the Hoosiers this season, suffered an injury to his right knee in practice on Jan. 12 and returned to the court against Michigan on Feb. 8. He is averaging 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds on the season and leads the team with 30 blocked shots. He had a career-high 13 points at Rutgers and has started the last 3 games.
• Junior transfer Nick Zeisloft is third on the team with 51 3FGM and is averaging 19.0 minutes per game. He is shooting 43.6 from long distance (3rd in the Big Ten) and is a graduate student who played for Illinois State. He had 12 points at Northwestern and 13 points at Rutgers last week. In the win at Illinois, he finished with 10 points and hit a clutch 3-pointer with three minutes left to push the Hoosiers to the victory. He had a career-high 19 pointS at Wisconsin.
• Freshman reserve Max Hoetzel scored six points against Illinois, his highest scoring output in Big Ten play. For the season, he is shooting 36.0 percent from long distance.
• Sophomore Stanford Robinson had a season-high 12 points against Penn State and made all six of his free throw attempts in the game. He is averaging 2.9 points in Big Ten play. Against Rutgers, he started and had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists without a turnover.
• Freshman Jeremiah April saw his first action since December at Rutgers and had 4 points, 2 rebounds and a blocked shots against the Scarlet Knights.
