• Indiana hit nine three-pointers, extending the team's single-season record to 290. IU has made at least nine treys 18 times this year.
• The Hoosiers out-shot Michigan State 46.2 percent to 43.8 percent.
• Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists. He is the fifth Hoosier to have 1,000 points, 400 assists and 300 rebounds, joining Tom Coverdale, Damon Bailey, Randy Wittman and A.J. Guyton. Ferrell has 1,309 points, just nine behind Jordan Hulls for 26th on the IU all-time list.
• He extended his school record streak of making at least one three-point field goal to 62 games. This is the longest active streak in the nation.
• Ferrell has a career-high 155 assists this season, the most for an Indiana player since Tom Coverdale had 178 in 2002.
• Nick Zeisloft added 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 5-of-8 from three-point range. Zeisloft contributed five rebounds and one steal.
• Over the last four games, Zeisloft has reached double figures in each game, is averaging 14.3 points and has connected on 17 of his 27 three-pointers, a 63.0 percent clip.
• James Blackmon, Jr., carded 17 points, seven rebounds and two steals.
• Hanner Mosquera-Perea recorded six points, three rebounds and one block.
• Robert Johnson netted five points, two rebounds and two assists, while Troy Williams finished with four points, three boards and a pair of assists.
